Custom Designs from a Geeky Guy
Popular Twitch Streamer Pauliegon reached out and asked me to produce some stream branding for him. He hired me to create his intro graphic which is himself surrounded by several of his favorite gaming characters. He also requested a personal logo, which I created by combining fonts similar to alcohol brands and retro gaming.

For this project, I was hired to create the logos and some of the cover layouts for the crossover graphic novel of the worlds of “the School for Good and Evil” and “Red Queen”. The book was illustrated by Emmy Award winning artist, Joel Gennari, including the cover artwork. My task was to create the logos for these pieces. I took the motifs of both authors’ books and melded them. Chainani’s works always feature gilded swans. Aveyard’s series showcases decadent crowns. For this piece I illustrated a bejeweled tiara made out of golden swans. For Part 2, I was tasked with “destroying” the crown to reflect the content of the book. I also worked on some of the design elements and types setting of the covers.

JLL wanted it’s internal initiatives to adapt to recent brand standard changes. My task was to devise custom illustrations for these two events that reflected their distinctive purposes but still fit within the same series.

This massive marquis booth space was requested on a tight turnaround in 2024. I devised the design based on prescribed templates, utilizing the Building Engines Brand Standards to enhance the space’s layouts. I used dark and light values to exaggerate depth and corners. I even animated the video that played on loop at the booth.

These are formal brand standards created so any and all design personnel can create collateral materials for Building Engines while adhering to brand best-practices. Of particular note is that this is the culmination of 3 years of small transitions. Since 2021, Building Engines was acquired by JLL. To minimize customer churn and marketing upset, I strategically altered the Building Engines brand little by little to morph into the JLL brand year-over-year.

This was a custom holiday event flyer I created. I illustrated several characters from pop-culture in the style of the The Peanuts singing holiday carols. The joke here being that each of these characters are known for having a superpower rendering their voice very dangerous.
